Barry Mittan is one of the world's top skating photographers. His photographs have appeared in over 30 skating publications in several countries in addition to skating books, calendars, newspapers, billboards, posters, television shows, movies, and other media. Mr. Mittan maintains a photo database of over 50,000 scanned color photographs of eligible and ineligible skaters and over 150,000 additional skating photographs, of which prints and scans may be obtained. The data base contains skaters' names, event/competition, discipline (dance, figures, ladies, men, pairs, show acts), and program (short, free, artistic, exhibition), year, and file number, but not music or moves.
